April 29, I opened the Tiktok app after a 2-month hiatus.

(ok you’re probably thinking…nope, I’m not doing another platform; and I hear you…but I can’t ignore 5k email sign ups, so I’m gonna keep going)

…I ended up on the platform until 3 IN THE MORNING. 

April 30, I made a quick video while in bed at around 10:30ish-pm… I guess I broke the seal. LOL

The day after that, I look at the clock next to my bed.

Oh, It’s May 01.

“Seems like a nice round number to start something new” I thought.

What if I do what the tiktok experts say and commit to 3 posts per day..and what if I treated it like Instagram stories… just raw AF.

So I post 1 video on May 1….

I get home from the gym the next day, and notice 100 new followers…

I go into my YouTube for Coaches Mastermind private chat and share the news.

Only 11 hours later, 100 had turned into TEN THOUSAND.

Wtf. Was I growing at 10k per day??

Alas, I was. 

Day 3. I add a landing page, and make a quick Tiktok about it. That night, gain 1k email sign ups.

The last time I experienced such rapid growth was on YouTube…and back then, I couldn’t believe my eyes, my business was building itself right in front of my eyes.

Once I started getting data (after I switched my account from Creator to Business), I started getting insight.

❓ How on earth was this happening??

❓ What loop is going on??

❓ What’s causing my account to blow up?

Interestingly enough, my account wasn’t growing because 3x posts per day…because I wasn’t even doing that. 

I nerded out on the Tiktok Algorithm, the platform functions, and looking for hidden signs that would indicate what was causing this.

And there it was… a 2-step process:

1 x viral video + The “set-up” of my account

This was causing audiences to binge on my OTHER videos, causing the virality to MULTIPLY.
